Allstate Floridian Insurance Company changes name to Castle Key Insurance Company
TALLAHASSEE – Allstate Floridian Insurance Company is changing its name to Castle Key Insurance Company to differentiate itself from its national parent company. The name change also applies to Allstate Floridian Indemnity Company.
A news release said, “The name changes were made in order to better reflect the fact that these property companies are separately capitalized from Allstate Insurance Company.”
Allstate and other major insurers set up separate Florida companies after Hurricane Andrew caused $30 billion in damage. Allstate Floridian announced the name change Thursday. It said the new name will be the only difference customers see.
