HOLIDAY — The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office and The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating a boating accident that occurred near Anclote River Park off U.S. 19.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, two boats collided in the water about 30 feet from the park’s main docks. The collision happened near marker #18, as one boat was entering the channel and another was leaving. A witness said both boats were inbound from the river. He said one speeded up and passed the other boat, which struck the marker.
